CommentsSaul Harens says... I bought this right before my trip to the bahamas (Nassau). I learned a lot about the islands. It came in handy on knowing where to go and things to do. Perfect size for your carry on. I will use it each time I travel there. Posted on January 3, 2011 Dewayne Kissling says... My search was for "Bermuda".This title appeared and I ordered it without paying attention to the title. It did arrive on time and in good condition but after realizing it wasn't what I wanted, I returned the book and will always look carefully before hitting the Order button. The good thing about this book is that it is up-to-date (as opposed to Lonely Planet Bahamas which hasn't been updated in several years). But I miss the history and cultural information that you get in Lonely Planet.I ended up getting them both. The Frommers guide has useful maps, and useful tips on where to go for snorkling, etc.Not bad overall, but not nearly as good as an up-to-date Lonely Planet if one comes out! Posted on January 6, 2011 Joya Marquis says... I have other Frommer's books and have been very happy with all of them. This book was great. We mountain biked all ofer Grand Bahama & Abaco, the book was a big help with all of the great places to visit. I was impresses with the estimated cost of things in the book as they were spot on and accurate. Don't leave home without it! Posted on January 7, 2011 Leave a Comment |
