Im a U.S. Soldier Who is going on His First deployment.I Will Be The Next in Afghanistan for 15 months.I Will Have to sit out there in the Cold snow for hours at a time guarding roads Against the taliban.I am really worried about The sub 0 temperatures face.What That i will if i get really sick from the Cold and Get frostbite.What Will I Do Then? Any Advise Would help.Thanks.

First, quit inventing these misery fantasies about what you imagine the experience will be like.
I think 15 month deployments are too long (I also thought that they weren't doing 15 month deployments anymore).But it's still doable.It's only 15 months, which really is not a long time.
