I've been there twice; the last time was early this year. I'll guess that you will pay about 25-30 percent more for food in Aruba than you pay in the U.S.
If you're concerned about food prices, I recommend you consider taking food with you and also buying it there at the grocery stores, which are mainly located midway between Orangestad and Palm and Eagle beaches. We saved a lot of money that way, and it was only a minor inconvenience.
