Me and my spouse are Wanting to take a trip to Botswana.A Few Days At The Chobe Safari Lodge and a couple days in Gaborone.We'll Have 7-14 days We Can stay.We'll Be Leaving from Kansas City, MO . The Okavango Delta is a very special part of the region so definitely suggest visiting a safari camp in that region.Depending on the time of year a visit to the Kalahari desert region or the unique Makgadikgadi Pans can be fantastic experiences.There are huge seasonal price variations with July through October at much higher rates as the peak dry season vs. December to March when there are green season rates that can be 50 to 65% less than high season.The level of accommodation can have a big variation on pricing with a few rustic camps and mobile safaris offering great game viewing at much lower prices than high luxury lodges in private concession areas that charge a premium but deliver exclusive experiences.Depending on seasons and and luxury levels your pricing could go anywhere from $250 per person to $1,500 per person and to reach more remote areas there are also costs of bush flights that generally range from $125 to $350 per person per leg depending on the distances covered.
