The Storm That Will Surely Become Colin (Tropical Depression 4)
Seems To Be Taking a track That Cape Verde-type Hurricanes take Often, goal Tropical Depression 4 one of em?

Yes, it came from the Cape Verde area. I'd hold off a couple of days, though, to see if this actually develops anymore. The convection was there, but it seems to be pulsing. It doesn't have good outflow in all quadrants, it's moving fast, and shear will increase in a few days. The last SHIPS model run showed this.The 12z GFS washes it out before it reaches the US, and makes it a weak TS at best. I think that if it doesn't develop in the next day or so, it will have a tough time.
