Both are great choices. It really depends upon what you are looking for. Bolivia is a great wild country and Chile beautiful and conservative. If you like big mountains and want an almost "otherworldy" experience then this is the option for you.
On the other hand, Namibia and South Africa have fantastic wildlife and if you include Cape Town (where I live) you get great scenery and lively nightlife etc. Also, while the cultures are significantly different from UK, English is understood, if not spoken, everywhere.

Either I'm planning to go to Bolivia / Chile, gold Namibia / South Africa next year in August or November for around Three weeks. Possibility Which Would Be Better for You?
